Original Oil on linen panel by Sarah F Burns.
Painted en plein air in late summer 2026 during a camping and hiking trip on Mount Shasta California. Created at Horse Camp, around 8000 feet. It's amazing that even at that high an elevation there is still SO much mountain to see. Spectacular place. View up to Lake Helen and Avalanche Gulch on the Southern Face of the mountain.
Oil on linen mounted on hardboard with the best quality oil pigments. This piece is archival and will last for generations. The frame was constructed by fine furniture craftsman Jens Sehm in beech.
This painting measures 16" (h) x 16" (w), 17” x 17” when including its frame.
