Painted by Sarah F. Burns - View of Big Red Mountain from the Pacific Crest Trail. Big Red is along the PCT and can be a great loop trail with incredible views of the Siskiyous and Cascades. You can walk around the mountain and see views to the North, West, South and East, also meaning you get incredible biodiversity of plant life along the hike. One of my favorite hikes. Not far from Wrangle Gap Campground and Dutchman Peak Lookout. I do not recommend driving to Wrangle Gap from Mt A if you can help it. The road is great until the last couple miles and then it is crazy. Stop before it gets terrible and pick up the trail. Much nicer.
Oil on Panel with the best quality oil pigments. This piece is archival and will last for generations.
This painting measures 6" (h) x 6" (w)
Created as a special, small work that makes a great gift, this sketch is designed to sit on a shelf, desk or dresser. It comes with a custom beech wood holder, custom made by craftsman Jens Sehm.
