Vesper Meadow is a conservation and restoration property in Southern Oregon that means a lot to me.
I’ve been coming her to paint and refresh my soul since 2018. This short video tells the story of the meadow restoration and how I document it with paint.
The video was created to accompany a museum exhibition that includes the paintings and story of the place.
Collection of Paintings Created at Vesper Meadow
For the most part these paintings are not for sale. They are created to document land use and restoration work and tell a story of the Southern Oregon Cascade mountains. Every July (or late June) I paint at Bovine Beach, a bend in Latgawa Creek that runs through Vesper Meadow. Vesper Meadow Program Director Jeanine Moy and I organize free Artist Meet-ups in the Meadow at least once a year. Make sure to get on my email list to hear about these events.
