Rocks in the Sun

December 28, 2017 § 4 Comments

I’m getting ready to go to Arizona to paint for a couple of weeks. I’m excited to paint in more of an open, desert landscape. These rocks were actually painted on the Oregon Coast, but the colors and the sun are getting me excited to pull out the earth colors.   Stay tuned!

Where will you be in Arizona? Any chance you’ll be near me? I live in Thatcher. It’s next door to Safford in SE Arizona.

Pia is just leaving tomorrow morning after a Christmas visit. I’m taking her to the Tucson airport. Tucson is the closest large city.

Good for you, can’t wait to see the results. Have fun! We’re heading to Palm Desert for 2 weeks and I’ve packed drawing materials. I’m hoping to make some strides… Happy New Year and I’ll see you in February.
